Uplands is a private smallholding of approximately 10 acres, set in a beautiful quiet village in North Dorset, where Suellen & Pete keep horses, geese, ducks, chickens and peacocks.

Totally secluded, overlooking private hill land at the front and, to the north, beautiful Dorset and Somerset countryside views as far away as Glastonbury Tor.

There are many lovely walks along the footpaths and bridleways which are plentiful in this area. Local museums include: Haynes Motors, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm & Bovington Tank.

Other attractions include two nearby golf courses and horse riding through the parkland.

Within a short walking distance is a 16th Century Village pub with a beer garden, serving real ales and good food.

Over Compton is 3 miles from the charming old Abbey Town of Sherborne and a similar distance from the market Town of Yeovil. Both have shops, supermarkets and main line railway stations.
